Safe Work Procedure Training - SWP

How do we help keep employees safe on the job? Safe Work Procedures. How do you get Safe Work Procedures? It starts with Job Hazard Analysis. A Job Hazard Analysis is a thorough review of each hazard in the workplace. Each job is broken down into steps, the hazards are identified, and specific controls are created for each hazard that has been identified.

This is an important first step. You have identified all of the hazards in your workplace. You created the controls, Safe Work Procedures (SWP) which when followed are expected to protect your employees from the hazards. Now you need and easy way to train your employees on your SWP.

Safe Work Procedure management is a new service from SafeAndCertified.com. It uses an online database to allow you to enter each Job Hazard, and then connect a set of Safe Work Procedures to the Job Hazard. Each Employee can now login and view each of the SWP and you have a record of their progress. To take it one step further you can also record periodic observations of each employee on the job to ensure they are following the Safe Work Procedures.

As a manager or supervisor, you now have the tools to manage your database of job hazards and safe work procedures; and you can record monthly, quarterly or annually observations with the ability to document corrective actions with each employee's profile.
