CAPSI
CAPSI is a custom system that was created for a Canadian University and was one of the foundation systems that provided the expertise for designing and developing effective online testing systems. This system has been in use in North America for several years and was recently put into use in a University in South America.
This is strictly an online testing tool used to deliver long answer questions which are marked by other students in a pool of peer reviewers and instructors. This unique aspect of the system has a lot of merits and has documented increases in student grade point averages.
CAPSI is a completely web based system. There are no paper tests, which is a very green solution. The turn around time on the marking is vastly faster than when students completed their tests on paper and were passed around to be marked.
