What is a Training Engine? That is what we use to describe the set of systems that allow SafeAndCertified.com to deliver online training and testing for many different courses, to thousands of employees anywhere in the world, all at the same time. And do it for about the price of a cup of coffee.
It starts with a powerful database you can count on to store your employee records, a database that we or you can load your employees into in seconds and create access codes for a course in a few more seconds. You can just as easily add 20 employees as you can 200 employees. Once they have their Access Codes they can train and test from anywhere that they are able to connect to the internet - from work, from home, or even on the ride into work.
Next is a simple design for delivering content to your employees. This content can be as simple as a .PDF or something more advanced like a combination of text, audio narration, and video clips. Courses are made up of modules and you click on a button and access the module. It's that simple.
Finally the key piece in any learning system, the testing module to measure the level of knowledge acquired by the trainee. The testing module is built on over 10 years of experience working with Educators and Instructional Design Specialists to create a system that has the integrity necessary to measure and certify a level of attainment as a result of the testing.
The technology behind this training engine has been used to create a wide range of courses from University level testing tools to Professional level Certification designations for Association members. Many examples are available under the Custom Course menu.
