Construction Site Safety Representative
This course is intended for Manitoba employers who have employees at a Construction Project. It is part of the Workplace Safety and Health Act of Manitoba in part 41(1) (b) which requires that each employer designate a worker as a designated safety and health representative nothwithstanding the requirements for a safety and health committee.
This means that smaller companies that may not have a safety and health committee are still required to have a Safety and Health Representative at each construction project work site.
The Construction Site Safety Representative course was initially developed and offered as classroom style workshop training. It has been converted to an online course with 4 modules and requires about 45 minutes to complete the training materials. The course provides a basic level safety and health awareness on the rights and responsibilities, and fundamental legal requirements of the Site Safety Rep.
The online training for Construction Site Safety Representative is available as an on demand course allowing you to purchase the training for one person online, or if you have multiple people in your organization and want to manage their training records we can create a company account for you.
